The Windsor Tunnel or say Detroit–Windsor Tunnel is a partially submerged highway tunnel connecting Windsor, Ontario, Canada with Detroit, Michigan, United States Of America under the Detroit River. It was completed in 1930. It is the second busiest crossing between Canada and the United States Of America  after the nearby Ambassador Bridge. About 28,000 vehicles use the tunnel each day. Total length of the tunnel is 1573 m and width only 7 m (vertical clearance 4 m).
